MPP Thompson Hosting Two Business Roundtables

Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson has announced plans to host two small business roundtable discussions.

They are designed to hear from local businesses and industry representatives about the challenges and issues they are facing. The date for both sessions is November 28.

The first meeting will take place at the REACH Centre in Clinton from 10:30am to noon. The second session will be at The Plex in Port Elgin from 4:30pm to 6pm.

Joining Thompson in Clinton and Port Elgin will be special guest Vic Fedeli, the MPP for Nipissing.

Anyone interested in participating in the discussion is encouraged to RSVP by emailing lisa.thompson@pc.ola.org or by calling 416-325-3467 no later than November 25.

"We want to ensure that the concerns of the community with respect to local industry are heard so that we can help to create a landscape where entrepreneurship, innovation and prosperity can flourish," stated Thompson. "Conversations such as these are invaluable when it comes to finding new ideas and approaches to tackling restrictive regulations, red tape and the duplication of efforts, and I'm looking forward to sharing our findings back at Queen's Park."
