For the founders of 365 Sports Inc., winning the Telus/Globe and Mail Small Business Challenge for Central Canada is both an honour and a challenge.
Mayor Barb Clumpus told Meaford council and visitors Monday, that when the co-owners of the Meaford company submitted their application to sponsors Telus and The Globe and Mail, they never expected to do so well.
“Their application was but one of 34,000 applications from across Canada,” says Clumpus.
365 Sorts Inc.’s co-owners are Mike Lambert, Jesse Fulton and Tony Smith.Their company produces and manages sporting and corporate events.
One of the company’s most recent projects involved assembling a 1,000 ft long water slide to run from the top of Nelson St. to downtown Meaford. Thousands of Meaford residents and visitors enjoyed the chance to ride down the slide.
