Central Huron has agreed to work with North Huron in providing water service to the new Cowbell Brewery in Blyth.
Mayor Jim Ginn explains the restaurant portion of the brewery will have treated water from North Huron, and the actual brewery will use water from its own private well.
The development requires construction of a water line that will loop a service in North Huron and provide water to the brewery.
Ginn says half of the cost for that line is being paid for by the developer and the other half by North Huron. Central Huron has agreed to cover half of North Huron's share.
Ginn says Central Huron will recover its share of the cost through taxes on the development and they also benefit from the jobs the brewery will create.
