Huether Gives Generals OT Win

Oshawa 5 Guelph 4 (OT)
Londesborough native Kenny Huether scored the game winner for Oshawa as the Generals beat Guelph 5-4 in overtime.

The Generals were down 3-0 after the first period until Anthony Cirelli and Domenic Commisso scored 40 seconds apart to spark a rally. Jack Studnicka tied the game heading into the third.

Danil Antropov put the Generals in the lead early in the final frame but James McEwan scored with 55 seconds on the clock to force extra time.

Kyle Keyser allowed all three goals against the Generals before being replaced in the second by Jeremy Brodeur. Brodeur stopped 19 shots in relief.

London 7 Hamilton 2

Janne Kuokkanen and Sam Miletic each struck twice as the London Knights topped Hamilton 7-2.

Cole Tymkin scored and added an assist for London. Tyler Johnson earned the win with 19 saves. Kaden Fulcher allowed five goals on 10 shots and was replaced midway through the second by Cole Ceci. He stopped 11 of 13 shots.

Justin Lemcke and Brandon Saigeon scored for the Bulldogs.

Kitchener 3 Mississauga 2 (OT)

Owen Tippett scored twice, just 34 second apart, in the first period to put the Steelheads up 2-0 but that was all the offense Missisauga generated in a 3-2 loss to Kitchener in overtime. Tippet was awarded first star honours in the game.

Jeremy Bracco had the game winner for the Rangers. Adam Mascherin scored the Ranger other two goals -- the first just 31 seconds into the third period and the second with just 90 seconds left to play.

Dawson Carty stopped 21 shots for Kitchener. Jacob Ingham made 23 saves for Mississauga.
