The Huron County Cycling Strategy Steering Committee is now looking for public input on their draft strategy.
The committee includes a wide range of stakeholders who have an interest in cycling as well as people who attended public workshops last May.
Committee Chair Sandra Weber explains the goal of the strategy is to improve cycling safety and enjoyment in the county.
The draft strategy has been posted on the county web site and is also available at all of the county library branches. Input can be provided at the library branches or on the web site.
They are hoping to gather public comments by October 20th so they can present a report to county council by the end of the year.
Weber adds the draft strategy includes eleven recommendations that could be implemented over the next five years and they would particularly like input on those recommendations.
