Trumpeter Swans Found Dead At Luther Marsh

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is looking for information on who shot two Trumpeter Swans at the Luther Marsh Wildlife Management Area near Arthur.

One swan was found floating in the marsh during the first week of October by a conservation officer. It had a metal leg band and two large yellow wing tags.

The second Trumpeter Swan was reported to have been shot in Luther Marsh on Monday October 10th. Hunters reported seeing the swan shot down about 9am.
