Pedestrian Struck By Jeep In Kincardine

An American resident has been charged after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Kincardine.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Wednesday around 6:36am, a 62-year-old Kincardine resident was struck by a white Jeep Cherokee at the intersection of Queen St. and Broadway St.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the Jeep, a 54-year-old resident of Iowa, USA, is now charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.
