Canada 150th Celebration Garden Will Grow In Blyth

1000 red and white tulips will spring up in Blyth in one of Canada's 150th celebration gardens.

150 Canadian communities won a prize of 1000 tulip bulbs from the Canadian Garden Council

The bulbs will be planted tomorrow at the Blyth Horticulture Park on Dinsley Street starting at 10am.

Cake and refreshments will be served.

The garden will also help mark Blyth's 140th.

Lissa Kolkman submitted the winning application for The Friends of Blyth.

Vesey's Bulbs of PEI is donated the bulbs for all 150 gardens. They are also donated 25,000 tulips for the Flagship 150th Celebration Garden Promenade at Niagara Falls.

Our garden will also be featured on Canada’s Garden Route, www.canadasgardenroute.ca
