Two Local Athletes Named to Junior Women's National Team Pool

Softball Canada recently announced its roster for the 2017 Junior Women's National Team Athlete Pool.

Locally, Mia Valcke of St. Marys and Brooke Turkalj of St. Jacobs were named to the pool.

They join 30 other athletes who will attend a selection camp June 5th-10th in Cloverdale, British Columbia. There, coaching staff will select a team to represent Canada at the 2017 WBSC Junior Women's World Softball Championship in July, 2017 in Clearwater, Florida.
