Listowel 7 Waterloo 5
Holdyn Lansink scored a hat trick in the third period and assisted on two in the second period to lead the Listowel Cyclones over the Waterloo Siskins 7-5.
The game was scoreless after the opening frame until Chayse Herrfort scored twice in the second period assisted by Lanskink on both. Jakob Lee and Ryley Cribbin also contributed to those goals. In all Lee assisted on four of the Cyclones goals.
Brady Anderson scored and had an assist for Listowel both of those coming in the third. Listowel scored five of their seven goals in the final period.
Justin Hergott earned the win making 17 saves. Liam Devine took the loss for Waterloo, allowing seven goals on 27 shots.
Elmira 6 Stratford 4
Quinten Bruce and Jake Brown each struck twice as the Elmira Sugar Kings topped the Stratford Warriors 6-4.
Stratford outshot Elmira 38-26.
It was a close game with Stratford tying the score twice in the first period. Jake Brown's second goal of game at 8:05 of the third stood as the game winner. Zack Cameron added insurance for the Sugar Kings with a goal at 15:25.
The Warriors got goals from four different players: Brady Hinz, Curtis Abbot, Justin Graham and Graham Brulotte.
Jonathan Reinhart made 34 saves to earn the victory. Carson Poulin allowed six goals on 26 shots for the Warriors.
