Rural "Dragon's Den" Part of Blyth Conference This Month

One of the features of the Rural Talks To Rural conference in Blyth at the end of this month is what Project Director Peter Smith calls a "rural Dragon's Den".

They have asked area innovators to submit ideas for business start-ups or expansions to a panels of business people who may be interested in investing.

Smith adds one of the objectives of 'The Pitch, The Catch' show is to create a bullpen of investors that innovators can contact on a semi-regular basis for advice or for loans, grants or partnerships.

'The Pitch, The Catch' is being held in the Belgrave Arena on September 28th, which is the first night of the three-day Rural Talks To Rural conference.

The conference and 'The Pitch, The Catch' are being organized by the Blyth-based Canadian Centre for Rural Creativity.

There's more information on the Rural Talks To Rural website.
