The Municipality of Grey Highlands has a top administrative position to fill.
Chief Administrative Officer Dan Best has announced that he will resign from his position effective September 30.
Best joined the Municipality as CAO in February 2010, and was instrumental in launching a number of key initiatives, including Grey Highlands’ first strategic plan.
Grey Highlands Mayor Paul McQueen acknowledged the CAO’s service to the municipality and thanked him for his tireless work.
"It is with mixed feelings that I announce Chief Administrative Officer Dan Best will step down from the CAO position in September," says McQueen. "Since joining the Municipality as CAO in February of 2010, Dan has been a strong advocate for the municipality and a strong voice for rural Ontario. Dan has always sought to develop capacity, growth and optimism in Grey Highlands and for that, and all of his service to our Community I say thank you."
