The four sites of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre have new data that supports their commitment to the delivery of high quality, patient-centred care.
One year after implementing a Patient Experience Surveying Program, over 1,400 patients have responded.
Initially, patients were surveyed for their experiences in the areas of acute care, emergency, family birthing centre and surgical services at the sites in Chesley, Durham, Kincardine and Walkerton.
In April of this year, surveying was expanded to include diagnostic imaging, laboratory, cardio-respiratory and outpatient physiotherapy.
In all areas, the overall rating of care exceeded 95%.
"I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to share their experiences with us," says SBGHC President and CEO Paul Rosebush in a news release. "The feedback we receive from out patients and visitors is invaluable, and we use it whenever possible to make improvements."
