The consulting team for the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority's updated Shoreline Management Plan has completed the draft of their updated plan.
Supervisor Geoff Cade says they had planned to hold public meetings on the draft plan this month, but have decided it would be more effective to post the draft on line for 90 days in September and give people time to look it over and submit written comments.
Cade explains it won't be the only opportunity for public comment but the written comments they receive after posting the draft plan in September will inform them about implementation of policy later.
Cade adds public meetings will be held in late spring or early summer of 2017.
