Stratford police and Perth County OPP pulled ten vehicles off the road in a truck safety inspection blitz.
Police say 48 commercial vehicles were checked Wednesday in an effort to ensure safe roadways for motorists and pedestrians.
Twelve charges were laid ranging from dangerous goods to vehicle maintenance.
The inspections also involved the Ministries of Transportation, Finance Motor Fuels and and Tobacco Tax.
Perth District Public health Inspectors conducted Smoke Free Ontario Inspections on 42 vehicles, and issued 42 warnings for signage.
