The OLG Slots at Hanover Raceway helped to generate some of this much needed funding that will go right back into the community.
Roughly $526,900 will help fund reconstruction of 9th Street between 7th Avenue and 10th Avenue.
The total project comes in at approximately $1,015,345.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
