The Grey Sauble Conservation Authority is calling for a 10% reduction in local water use, due to very dry conditions.
This following a recommendation from the local Low Water Response Team to urge residents to cut their water use in the wake of low precipitation levels.
A Level 1 low water condition has been issued, meaning precipitation is under the 80 percent average over the last three months, or stream flows have dipped below 70%.
Continued dry conditions may cause a Level 2 condition, which would call for further conservation of water use.
