Construction is expected to begin in a few weeks on the new Canadian Tire Store at the north end of Mount Forest.
Wellington North council had no problems with a site servicing agreement it saw this week, which includes a cost sharing for about $300,000 to reconstruct a road to provide access to the store.
Wellington North will pay about two-thirds of the cost and Canadian Tire about one-third.
The new store will be located on Hwy. 6, just north of the No Frills grocery store.
