The Bluewater Disctrict School Board will vote on a new name for the amalgamated Owen Sound Highschools today.
The Naming Committee has recommended the new school be named Owen Sound District Secondary School.
The other names on the shortlist include Owen Sound Secondary School, Owen Sound Collegiate, and Owen Sound High School.
Students from OSCVI will join West Hill students at their current highschool in the fall, and the school will have a new identity .
The naming committee included representation from students, staff, parents, the public and the board.
OSCVI will be renovated into an elementary school.
