The Perth District Health Unit is working with the City of Stratford to ensure residents and visitors can practice sun safety.
This summer, there will be free sunscreen dispensers placed in high-foot-traffic-outdoor areas throughout the city.
Public Health Nurse Karen Bergin-Payette says they hope to prevent sunburns, which are linked to an increased risk of skin cancers.
She adds skin cancer is the most common type of cancer but also the most preventable.
The dispensers will be placed at locations like the Lion's Pool, The Anne Hathaway Splash Pad, Upper Queen's Park, and Stratford Tourism Visitors Centre.
Look for orange dispensers that say "free sunscreen"
