Bryson Cianfrone was honoured with three awards at the Owen Sound Attack's annual awards banquet over the weekend.
The 21-year-old Stoney Creek native went home with the Pat McReavy Unsung Hero Award, the Tommy Burlington Leading Scorer Award and the Society of Energy Professionals Players' Choice Award as voted by his teammates.
Cianfrone was acquired from the Mississauga Steelheads on the opening day of the 2015-16 season and went on to score 17 times and add 33 assists to lead the Attack with 50 points in 58 games.
Petrus Palmu and Santino Centorame took home two awards. Both tied for the Becker Shoes Player of the Week Award with each being named the player of the week three times throughout the season.
Palmu was named the Butch Keeling Memorial Award winner as the Most Valuable Players of the 2016 Playoffs. He had three goals and three assists in the playoffs.
Centorame earned the Jerry Reid Memorial Award as the Regular Season MVP. He scored a career high 41 points including 14 goals and 27 assists in his first year as Captain of the Owen Sound Attack.
Nick Suzuki won the Harry Lumley Memorial Award as Rookie of the Year.
Listowel's Daniel Dekoning was named the Dan Snyder Memorial Award as the players that maintains a positive outlook at all times in the dressing room.
Jacob Friend was named the team's most improved player, earning the Harry Kazarian Memorial Award.
Sean Durzi was named the winner of the Howard Hindman Award as the Attack's scholastic player of the year.
