The bear was spotted about 6:38am Wednesday morning near Adelaide St. in Kincardine.
OPP officers were called, and kept an eye on the animal as it moved into the bush south of the Kincardine area.
The bear was caught about 10:42am following several more sighting reports.
There has been no word yet on where the bear was taken.
They were produced during an intense storm last Saturday afternoon.
OPP are asking if the public saw anything on Sunday morning
