Waterloo region fire firefighters are still on the scene of a fire at a secondary building at the St. Jacob's Farmers market.
Firefighters rushed to the scene at 878 Weber St. N at about 1:30pm Thursday afternoon, during a busy market day.
Elmira, Conestoga and Breslau departments were called in to assist.
Smoke was rising from the Peddlers building.
Woolwich fire officials say the fire was caused by a propane torch being used by a roofing crew.
The extent of the damage is unknown at this point.
Fire destroyed the main building at St. Jacob's farmers market in 2013, with the cause of that blaze still unclear.
