Conners Struggles In First Round Of Dominican Republic Open

Listowel's Corey Conners struggled in his first round of the Casa de Campo Dominican Republic Open, shooting a three over 75.

Conners is tied for 92nd place in the tournament.

The seventh hole proved to be Conners' biggest challenge as he double bogeyed the par three hole.

Conners also bogeyed the 4th and 13th hole. He birded the 14th hole.

American Ken Looper is in first place at six under 66.

Conners begins his second round at 7:30am Thursday morning.
