Fourth Suspect Charged In Hanover Meth Investigation

A fourth suspect has been charged in connection with a major meth trafficking investigation that centred in Hanover.

Sue-Anne Ward, 30, of no fixed address, formerly of Owen Sound, surrendered to the Hanover Police Service this week on an outstanding arrest warrant.

She faces charges of possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possession of property obtained by crime.

Last Saturday, police from Hanover, Saugeen Shores, and the OPP executed search warrants at two Hanover residences, and seized methamphetamine, Canadian currency, pellet handguns, edged weapons, prohibited weapons and contaminated needles.

The total street value of the drugs seized is estimated to be $51,000. The quantity of methamphetamine seized is equivalent to over 5,000 individual doses.

Three Hanover residents were arrested at that time, and charged with a number of drug and weapons-related offenses.

Jason Rose, 44, remains in custody and has a court appearance today in Walkerton.

Gregory Benninger, 40, and Mellissa Milne, 40, were released with conditions, and will appear in Walkerton court on June 1.
