Grey County OPP have released information on a high-risk offender who has moved into Southgate.
In accordance with the Police Services Act, the OPP is advising residents of the Southgate area that 30-year-old Brenden Sarginson has taken up residence on Southgate Rd. 75.
He has previous criminal convictions for sexual assault, theft under $5,000, and failing to comply with a probation order.
Sarginson completed a custodial sentence in Alberta in 2014, and another custodial sentence in Ontario, and has been released on probation, with certain conditions.
He is described as a white male with hazel colored eyes, shaved brown hair in a crewcut style. He's 6' tall, with a heavy build.
He is monitored by an electronic device while on probation, and is required to report to a Barrie probation and parole officer as well as the Grey County OPP on a regular basis.
