A report of a missing hiker on the Bruce Trail in Georgian Bluffs ended well.
Grey County provincial police were called after a woman and her pet dog failed to return home from a walk.
The woman had left her home on South Bass Lake Rd. at about 7pm on Sunday.
The OPP West Region Emergency Response Team and the OPP Canine Unit were called in to assist in the search.
At 7am the next day, police found the woman and her dog in good health on the Bruce Trail about 4 km from her home.
Police say the 67-year-old woman knew to remain in one spot and wait for help once she realized she was lost.
The woman was dressed for the weather, and did not suffer any harm despite being outdoors for several hours.
