Motorists in Stratford should ensure they follow the rules of the road today as officers from six other police forces converge on the city.
The Four Counties 2016 Traffic Initiative begins today in the festival city.
Officers will be enforcing all infractions under the Highway Traffic Act with a focus on intersections, and distracted driving.
The initiative is intended to educate drivers, and create awareness of road safety.
Officers from London, Woodstock, Aylmer, St. Thomas, Strathroy and the OPP will patrol the city, and have the authority to lay charges under the Highway Traffic Act.
