Final Staff Accommodation Review report for Owen Sound area school retains the plan to consolidate secondary students at West Hill starting next September.
The Owen Sound Collegiate and Vocational Institute will be renovated to create a kindergarten to Grade-8 school opening in fall 2017.
The Bluewater District School board will receive the final report tonight.
It also recommends Bayview Public School and Sydenham Community School close in June 2017, with those students attending OSCVI.
The Dufferin Elementary school will also close, with those students attending either Hillcrest, or Keppel Sarawak Elementary Schools.
Derby School would close, with those students attending either Arran-Tara, Hillcrest or Hepworth.
The board would have to ask the Ministry of Education for funding to replace Hillcrest to meet future enrollment expectations.
The plan will come up for a vote at the regular board meeting April 19th.
