Main St. in Palmerston was closed for the whole afternoon due to a structure fire.
The Minto Fire Department was working on extinguishing the fire as late as 3. There is no damage estimate, however fire officials say the house will be a total loss.
One person was transported to Palmerston hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed between White's Rd. and Minnie St. on Main St. E in Palmerston, which just recently re-opened.
