Advance Medical Marihuana Starts Testing

Advanced Medical Marihuana Canada will  produce some test plots at the Kincardine hybrid greenhouse facility now that they have a licence to grow.

CEO Peter Herburger says that should take about 4 months, at which time they should receive a licence to sell.

He says then they will plant the first 16,000 square feet to sell to the medical marijuana [also spelled marihuana] market.

He says they will also double their workforce to about 25, with more employees expected as they continue to ramp up production.

Herburger says they've already invested about 5 million dollars, and will invest another 5 million in each phase of the 7 acre hybrid greenhouse facility.

Once the company is fully operational, they expect to produce up to 15,000 kilos a year.

Herburger says their hybrid operation should be able to produce marijuana that is less expensive compared to their competitors.

Advanced Medical Marihuana is a division of Supreme Pharmaceuticals.
