A Listowel resident is the latest victim as a number of fraud schemes are circulating.

Perth County OPP were called over the weekend about a fraud that involved a number of complicated transactions.

The thieves used websites such as TeamViewer.com and ShowmyPC.com to gain remote access to the victim's computer and from their banking information.

Fraudsters kept the ruse going until the victim was out $8,000.
