A house across the road forced the closure of Highway 23 south of Atwood.
Perth County OPP say a transport truck was hauling a modular home around 4:20 yesterday afternoon when a strong gust of wind caused the trailer to flip. The house came to rest on it's side, across both lanes of the highway.
The force ripped the hitch from the trailer but police say the truck remained upright. No one was hurt.
It took over four hours for tow and recovery companies to safely clear the road. The house and trailer were extensively damaged.
