Icy Roads Friday And Blowing Snow

It's slow-going on the roads in our area today.

A colder northwest flow off the lake has frozen most of the slush and snow from the milder weather we had yesterday.

Major routes this morning are track-bare, snowpacked and slippery. There is also moderate drifting, and visibility is reduced at times because of blowing snow.

Secondary roads are snowcovered and icy, with drifted sections.

There is one band of heavy snow extending from Kincardine - south along the Lake Huron shoreline to Sarnia - and inland across Huron, Lambton, Middlesex, southern Perth, and into the London-area. Visibility is poor at times in that area.
