The Kincardine Yacht Club has had BM Ross draw plans for a new retaining wall at the Kincardine Marina.
The club says the current wall along the driveway at the marina is made of old railway ties that decomposing, with the wall beginning to lean into the driveway.
They hope to build the new wall along with right of way at Huron Terrace, to increase driveway and storage space.
If Kincardine council approves the concept, the club will then submit the paperwork to the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority for their permission to go forward with the project in the flood plain.
Once that's done, final engineered drawing will be created, and put out to tender by spring 2017.
The club expects the project to cost about $60,000. which would come from the marina reserve fund.
