Arthur Company Changes Hands

One of the larger industries in Wellington North has changed hands.

Lynda White, Vice President of All-Treat Farms of Arthur, has announced that the composting company has been sold to Walker Environmental Group of Thorold. Walker Environmental is already in the composting business and has 600 employees in business locations across Canada.

Wellington North Mayor, Andy Lennox, is pleased All-Treat will continue operating in the area.

"Glad to see the business carrying on for the foreseeable future. With a partner who is committed to the business and we look forward to working with them as they continue to grow and develop in the community."

A spokesperson for the company stated there will be no job losses as a result of the change in ownership.
