Dundalk Eco Industrial Park Could Get New Tenant

A proposal to convert wood chips into electricity came before Southgate council this week.

Petawawa Renewable Power Corporation asked council for a lease on two hectares of land in the Dundalk Eco Industrial Park. It's for a $4-million recycling plant.

Southgate councillors had a lot of questions, and plan to meet again with the company before making a decision on the lease of property.
