The Bluewater District School Board is changing the itinerary for Kincardine students going to Europe due to travel advisories laid out by the Government of Canada.
The Art History Trip for Kincardine District Secondary School is scheduled to leave in March. But a committee report to the board says there is a change in destinations. Organizers have removed Paris, France from the trip and added Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Bruges, Belgium to the plan.
The Government of Canada's travel advisory to France states, "Exercise a high degree of caution due to the current elevated threat of terrorism."
The March trip for KDSS students also includes stops in Rome and Florence, Italy.
