Midwestern

Winter weather has roared back into our region.

This time yesterday we had rain, bare roads and grass.  Today, there's a blanket of snow, lake-effect snowsqualls, and icy roads.

There are several road closures because of poor visiblity: (click here for road closures) http://blackburnnews.com/midwestern-ontario/midwestern-ontario-closures/

Other major routes are track bare, snow packed and slippery. Secondary roads are snow covered and icy, with drifted sections.

Visibility is poor at times because of blowing snow and off-lake squalls.
