Residential sales activity in Grey Bruce Owen Sound in December 2015 smashed the previous record set in 2002.
The Realtors Association says 147 units changed hands last month, up over 51 per cent from a year ago.
In all, 2,611 properties were sold last year, up 17.7 per cent from the previous year.
The annual average sale price in 2015 was over $244,000. which is up 8 per cent from 2014.
In all, $36-million dollars worth of homes sold in December, up 78 per cent year over year.
The $639 million worth of residential real estate sold in 2015 is a 27 per increase from the previous year.
