UPDATE: Snow Squall Warning In Effect

With current warmer temperatures expected to drop as we head into the evening hours today (Sunday), Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning for most of Midwestern Ontario including Huron-Perth, Grey-Bruce and Wellington counties.

The radar is showing a large band of moisture heading to the northeast over Lake Huron this morning with officials saying there could be flash freezing with the potential for white out conditions.

Snow squalls are expected to bring amounts of 10-20 cm per 12 hours in some areas.

Ontario Provincial Police are cautioning motorists to slow down and be prepared for changing weather conditions throughout the day as snow squall activity will cause hazardous driving conditions and reduced visibility in many areas.
