There were 245 checkpoints set up between November 23 and January 2, the most in the detachment's history. Of the thousands of vehicles stopped, four drivers were charged with impaired and another four were slapped with license suspensions.
That compares to 19 impaired driving charges and three suspensions in the 2014 campaign.
