Robyn Doig Reflects on Turning Pro in 2015

Seaforth's Robyn Doig launched her professional golf career this fall.

Doig played in four events in Florida essentially to get ready for the beginning of the Symetra Tour season near the end of January.

Doig says there's definitely more pressure when you're playing as a professional but she's pleased with most of her game this fall. She's shooting more birdies than she has in the last year or two but adds there are still too many bogies creeping into her game.

Doig explains one of the challenges is staying focused for eighteen holes and she's working on breaking the course down to groups of three holes.   And one of the things that has really helped her is she's met several other golfers who are also starting out their professional careers it's been helpful to talk with them about their challenges.
