A group of Mildmay citizens brought their concerns with Sacred Heart School to the Grey Bruce Catholic School Board this week.
Spokesperson Bill Goetz told the board they are unhappy with a decision to close the junior building in Mildmay, and move all the students to the senior building.
Construction of an addition to the senior building is expected to begin in the spring.
The parents are worried about adequate playground and parking facilities at the senior building, and worry about the safety of students who are travelling to the junior site for recess.
They're asking to meet with the board to come up with a solution that is satisfactory.
Director of Education Jamie McKinnon says the board will review the situation with hopes to have the board respond in the new year on how those
