New Management Coming For Clinton-Hanover Casinos

The mayor of Central Huron says revenues to host municipalities won't change when a private management group takes over the management of the casinos in six Ontario locations.

Jim Ginn explains the RFPs have gone out now,  and the change - affecting locations like London, Point Edward, Hanover and Clinton - is expected to take place early in 2017.

But Ginn points out the casinos will still be owned by OLG and they'll control the money.

Revenue will still be turned over to OLG and they'll distribute it to the six casinos under the same formula that is in place now.
