BlackburnNews.com photoThe Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating after a plane was damaged during a hard landing in Grey County.
The plane was arriving on Griffith Island located in Georgian Bay when a wing made contact with the ground during the final stages of the attempted landing.
There were no injuries in the mishap that happened about 2:14pm yesterday afternoon.
The plane was a Pilatus PC12.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
