Bruce Power's New App Tracks Benefits of Electric Car

Bruce Power has collaborated on a new iPhone app that allows motorists to track the economic and environmental benefits of driving an electric car.

The partnership with Plug'n Drive resulted in an app that features interactive information for people considering an electric car.

It also has interactive maps of charging stations across Ontario, links to grants available to subsidy the purchase of an electric vehicle, and information about the various electric vehicles on the market.

The app is an extension of the the existing Bruce Power iPhone app, and can be downloaded at the App Store.

“The reliability of Bruce Power nuclear energy is a perfect match for the growing electrified transportation system in Ontario,” said James Scongack, Bruce Power’s Vice President, Corporate Affairs.

“These tools are all based in fact and demonstrate the importance of a balanced electricity supply mix, including Bruce Power nuclear,” Scongack added.
