A Meaford man is in hospital after being shot accidentally this morning.
About 11:30, Grey County OPP got a report of an injured male after a firearm was accidentally discharged inside a residence in the Municipality of Meaford.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 22-year-old male was cleaning a 410 shotgun when it discharged.
The projectile passed through an interior wall into an adjoining room where it struck another male.
The 48-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital where he was air-lifted to a Toronto hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Grey County OPP continue to investigate the incident.
