Nextera Denies Turbine Pieces Falling in Bluewater

The Mayor of the Municipality of Bluewater has been in touch with officials from Nextera regarding reports of pieces falling off of wind turbine blades.

Tyler Hessel was told that there had been some issues with turbines south of Bluewater, but Nextera was not aware of any problems in the Bluewater area.

Hessel says the municipality had received calls from residents saying material had fallen on their property, but the spokesperson for Nextera claimed they had checked their turbines in Bluewater and found them all to be up to standard and operating properly.

A Nextera representative said he would look into it further and get back to the municipality if there was a problem.
