The REACH Centre in Clinton hosted a Media Mingle with its partners Tuesday.
General Manager Matt Lee pointed out the Centre, with the help of their partners, offers several full and part time courses at the REACH Centre and Lee says they currently have about 100 full-time students and about forty per cent of those students are from out of town so they live and board in the Clinton community.
Those partners include Fanshawe College, University of Guelph – Ridgetown, the Avon Maitland and Huron-Perth Catholic School Boards, the Huron Business Centre and the newest partner, Contact North, which helps facilitate on-line education for students throughout the province but particularly in Northern Ontario.
"We had a great representation with our Guelph-Ridgetown Equine Course, the Huron Catholic School Board, the Avon-Maitland District School Board were both represented today as we do dual credits," says Lee.
Lee also points out that Fanshawe now offers classes in several communities throughout the area with Clinton and the REACH Centre its anchor or home base.
